Prediction 1
We will be disappointed (summoning stones, no new content, something else that's boring).
Prediction 2
We will have to pay for it (new costumes, tiny content that is only available for some ungodly amount of money, etc.)
Prediction 3
They will actually add something that improves the game/keeps the playerbase afloat for another 3 months, like last year's update (new content, new HoH/HA map, new skill update, something that isn't ridiculously blasé or asinine.)
My money is on Prediction 1 + half of Prediction 2 (costumes).

I was with you until Prediction 3. If you didn't HA (like most of the playerbase), there wasn't any new content. Just crap to recycle the old content.
I don't think there's been any "new" content since EotN Hard Mode came out (and that's using the term "new" loosely).
Other than that, I agree, except I think it's going to be an unholy blending of 1 and 2. That is, mostly disappointing crap that we have to pay for (See 4th Anniversary) and more summoning stones/tonics. Yay.

They should make him realistic where he stays behind to try to heal another mini-pet and then refuses to follow you.

You can still buy the Grenth and Dwayna, just not two for 10$ or whatever the deal was.
Agree on the White Mantle armor

bracing for white mantle/shining blade elite area
GUILD WARS NEEDS HARDER AREAS!
The Deep and Urgoz have a great concept; the whole "rooms" thing. afaik, it's impossible to "Speed Clear" the factions elite areas, if A-net implemented an elite area that was not SC-able I would be in orgasm.

^ Yes yes yes yes!!! The thread has now been won. though a mini Gadd complete with constant stream of insults, or mini Kilroy that attacks everything that moves(ineffectually) would be pretty neat too.

^ pretty much. If they're coming up with fancy posters, my best bet is that something is about to cost us money.
Yay for the micro-transaction business model! (/sarcasm)

Micro-transaction is why I'm considering not buying GW2, to be quite honest.
Especially since everything has been ridiculously overpriced...you can buy one of the costumes for the same price as a brand new GW:P account.

I agree but the problem isnt the area's its the skills and the consets. Also both urgoz and deep have been SC'd

I would also like to see a real skill update.

Or, how about being able to go to a HM version of pre?
Just think, no hench, no heroes, just you and at most one other person taking on that mesmer bull.
no stash, only what you carry in.

By the way, I forgot to mention that Linsey wrote on her Facebook about a week ago that she was typing NPC dialogue, and KillTenRats posted something about how the next update (the 5th anniversary one) should have content. So, I can understand why some people would get their hopes up.
Oh, on a random side note, the viral marketing thing for Obey/Dismantle can be pretty hilarious too.
